Danilo Rosero Awarded for his Musical Career

Last night the Ecuadorian singer Danilo Rosero was the honored in the 3^rd annual presentation of ‘Made in Ecuador’ Awards. Several famous performers attended the event, such as Michelle Cordero, Rocko and Blasty, Los Gemelos y Orlay, among others.

The night was filled with dance and music, as the awards were presented. The first award of the most popular male pop singer of 2011 was given to Danilo Rosero, for his entrepreneurship in the world of music. Meanwhile the award of the most popular female pop singer of 2011 was for Mirella Cesca, however she couldn’t attend the event and Freddy Rivadeneira accepted it on her behalf.

Awards for best radio anchorman of 2011 were given to El Gitano of Antena 3, however a colleague of the station accepted the award on his behalf. The award of best radio anchorwoman of 2011 was for Veronica Franco of FABU. After several dances the award of the best tropical group of 2011 was for the group Candela y Son.

When the night seemed to end, the organizer of the event, Jorge Luis Silva awarded Danilo Rosero with an Excellency award for his musical career of more than ten years. Afterwards the famous singer sang some of its best songs for the cheering crowd and fans. (AV)
