Defence Minister resigns

María Fernanda Espinosa resigned to the Ministry of Defence. Her replacement, according to unofficial information, could respond to the change of area of other government authorities.
It is expected that Fernando Cordero could leave the Ministry of Security Coordination and go to the Defense and Cesar Navas would leave the ECU-911 for the position of Cordero.
Espinosa did not went through the reasons for her departure, she just said it was due to personal reasons.
It is still pending in the Ministry of Defense, the restructuring of the Forces, which involves the reduction of military personnel from 42,000 to 34,000 and military units from 561 to 297 in the whole country. These tasks will have to be performed by the new Minister.
