Development and construction of the Posorja Port was authorized in a decree

Through the Executive Decree 1060, President Rafael Correa authorized the development, construction and maintenance of facilities of the Posorja deepwater port (in Guayas).

The document, issued last Wednesday, also authorizes the operation of the public service, dredging, construction and maintenance of an access cannal to Posorja, as well as the highways that link Playas and Posorja.
