Develops New Version of Program to Pay Taxes Online
For the tax returns, the Internal Revenue Service (SRI) developed a new version of multiplatform forms of DIMM in order to receive tax payments by Internet, which will start working from next year.
Tax Returns by the Magnetic Media (DIMM) is a digital program that serves to fill the forms and send them to the SRI’s website. This tool wants to replace the paper forms definitely which will no longer be received by the tax administration.
The DIMM is used by operating systems now certified to work with the new version. The bank said that the essential feature of the new program is that it can be installed on any operating system be it in Windows, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Linux, Red Hat 5.0, Linux, Ubuntu and Mac
The DIMM can be downloaded http://www.sri.gob.ec or the taxpayer can go to the offices of the entity to record the program on a flash drive (USB).
