Diplomatic relations between Ecuador and Nicaragua are strengthened

The Government of Nicaragua urged yesterday to strengthen diplomatic and cooperative relations with Ecuador.
This was reflected during a ceremony in which the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Samuel Santos received the credentials of the new Ambassador of Ecuador in Nicaragua, Aminta Buenaño Rugel.
Buenaño mentioned that the act was aimed at “strengthening diplomatic and cooperation relations,” said the Foreign Ministry said a statement.
Nicaragua and Ecuador have close political and diplomatic relations and advocate to increase their trade relations in the framework of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA).
