Posted On 27 May 2014

A technical team composed by delegates of the seven CPC members reviewed during ten days that the 167 people who signed up to participate in the process met requirements such as be Ecuadorian, be in enjoyment of participatory rights, have legal age, demonstrate notable rectitude and have knowledge on electoral issues.
Those who do not pass this stage of “admissibility” may seek reclassification within a period of three days, which will be resolved by the plenary of the citizen Council in two days.
After that, the merits qualification will start on a percentage of 50 points.
The selection Committee will be composed by ten people: five citizens and five State officers. Their appointment is scheduled for next July.
