Drones continue flying over different parts of Paris
At least five drones have been spotted for a second night in the sky of Paris flying over different parts of the French capital, as reported by official sources.
The flights of drones were spotted early Wednesday in various locations, including near the National Assembly and the Place de la Concorde, near which the US Embassy is located.
“There’s not to worry,” said government spokesman Stéphane Le Foll, but acknowledged at the same time that the authorities “take seriously” the phenomenon, which perplexes the researchers.
The view of the drones is facilitated by the massive presence of security forces in Paris, where the monitoring device was reinforced after the attacks of January.
These developments come at a time when policing is extreme in French, month and average capital after the attacks on the headquarters of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
