Duel between University leagues opens soccer seventh round

After a 2-0 victory over the Manta, Liga de Quito ended with a total of three games without a win. “The team has improved a lot,” said Edgardo Bauza, technical director.

Bauza said his squad is in very good condition and is focused in tonight’s game against Liga de Loja, in the stage of Reina del Cisne.

“We are back on track to meet the team, confidence is growing but that must be ratified  in every game,” Bauza said.

The white team also will be without the defender Eduardo Morante, for accumulation of yellow cards and the midfielder Carlos Feraud, who is injured.

For a team that “is engaging”, the DT Paul Velez worked with alternatives in their gaming system, that would be exposed by a line of three defenders for the players of Loja.
