Earthquake Struck Close to Acapulco

A strong earthquake struck at 193 km east of Acapulco, on Mexico’s Pacific coast, the US Geological Survey informed that the quake had a 7,8 magnitude.
Through his Twitter account, the Mexican president, Felipe Calderon, informed that there weren’t any serious damages. During the quake Mexican’s employees fled from their buildings to the streets.
During the natural disaster, cell phone lines were down, and the traffic got chaotic in the capital. Sources in Acapulco informed that the damage is “minimal.” (AV)
