Ecuador among the 10 best teams in the world

April brings good news for the Ecuadorian national team. The FIFA showed the classification of the selections of the world and the tricolor was placed in tenth position after overtaking Russia. In the last publication the Ecuadorian team was in eleventh position and  now is among the 10 best teams to FIFA.

In this way, Ecuador enters for the first time on the list of the top 10 best teams thanks to the victories against Paraguay and El Salvador.

Ecuador, within the 2013 calendar, they will have to play against four teams that are among the top 10. In May the squad of Reinaldo Rueda will play a friendly match against the Germany of Schweinsteiger, in June they must play against Falcao’s Colombian selection, and a few days later will face Argentina’s Messi and finally in August is expected to play against the champions of the world, the Spanish team of David Villa and a set of stars that will be played in Guayaquil’s Monumental Stadium.

The deployment and attitude that Ecuador has shown in the past encounters is  reflected in this classification; It is a team that has done everything it has to do that’s why it stands second in the South American qualifiers, just below Argentina.
