Ecuador appoints new ambassadors for the United Arab Emirates and Nicaragua

The Government of Ecuador today designated as new ambassadors of the Andean country in the United Arab Emirates and Nicaragua to Rafael Veintimilla, and María Belén Moncayo respectively.
Veintimilla previously occupied the position of ambassador of the Foreign Service and now, through a decree of the Executive, will be the representative of the country before the United Arab Emirates, with headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, position previously occupied by Germán Espinoza.
In a second decree, María Belén Moncayo was designated as “extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Ecuador before the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua”.
Previously the position of ambassador in Nicaragua was occupied by Aminta del Rosario Buenaño. (I)
