Ecuador Beats Colombia at the Atahualpa Stadium

This afternoon, Ecuadorian soccer team beats Colombia by 1-0 at the Olimpico Atahualpa Stadium in South American qualifying for the 2014 Brazil World Cup.
The first chance on goal came from James Rodriguez (Colombia) at minute 16 after a shot who finished into the hands of Ecuadorian goalkeeper Alexander Dominguez.
At minutes 53, Ecuadorian Christian “El Chucho” Benitez reaches the victory goal, when he took advantage of a rebound within the defined area and head.
With this victory, Ecuador grows two positions on the playoffs standings, ahead of Venezuela (8), Colombia (7), Bolivia and Paraguay (4) and Peru (3).
