Mubarak’s Health Further Deteriorates

Egyptian security officials informed that the health of former President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak has fully deteriorated. Doctors had to use a defibrillator twice and feed him liquids intravenously.

Mubarak’s two sons, Gamal and Alaa, were by his side at the intensive care ward of Torah prison hospital south of Cairo, where the 84-year-old former president is serving his sentence.

It has not been informed if the defibrillator was used because his heart stopped or to fix irregular heartbeats. Mubarak is suffering from breathing problems and blood pressure. Doctor Brig Ayman Hilmi stated that Mubarak also suffers from psychological issues. (AV)
