Ecuador breaks Guinness Record in Salinas

A new Guinness world record in Ecuador was imposed on Saturday, by 684 citizens on Chipipe beach, located in Salinas city.
The mark, surpassing the record set in Ireland on 2010, was achieved after 684 citizens were buried in the sand up to his neck.
British Ralph Hannah, Guinness World Record representative for Latin America, was in Salinas to prove the record in this event organized by the company Pica and the brand Bora-Bora, within its Ecuadorian campaign, “Bury with Bora”.
In the event a contest was carried out to create marine sand figures. Five people were awarded with $ 200 each.
