After a strong seism of that took down the energy and telecommunications services in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Several countries Latin American countries like Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico declared a tsunami alert.

Meanwhile the USGS centre of United States that studies seismic activities in the Pacific, gave a tsunami alert to Colombia and Ecuador. Recently the Ecuadorian authorities have dismissed the tsunami alert. AV
