Ecuador Finished its Debut in London 2012

Ecuador ends its participation in the London 2012 Olympic Games without winning medals but getting plenty of experience for the next Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016.
The Ecuadorian Miguel Almachi, of Quito, was the last athlete that represented the country by competing in the Marathon which took place at dawn today. Almachi arrived at position 50.
In total 36 Ecuadorian formed the delegation and the athlete who distinguished the most in these Olympics was the sprinter Alex Quinonez, who got the seventh place in the final 200-meter sprint.
At 14:00 (GMT) these Olympics will end in a spectacular closing ceremony worthy of being seen. (MZ)
