‘Ecuador here I am,’ the great benefit show that echoed from Miami

“We want that all this reaches the most affected areas, not only 100% of what tonight will be raised (Wednesday), but also our good energy and our good feelings,” said the Venezuelan host Daniel Sarcos after announcing the artists who took part in the “Ecuador here I am” concert, before the shouts of about 3,000 people who attended the charity concert in Miami, USA.

Chayanne, Maluma, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Willy Chirino, Carlos Vives, Mariana Vega, Franco De Vita and dozens of artists took part  in this initiative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), that along with Ecuadorian Ambassador of Good _ Will Juan Fernando Velasco, called for show business personalities to help the victims of the earthquake that devastated Manabi and part of Esmeraldas last April.

CNN in Spanish published yesterday that according to the organization of the concert, $ 213,000 were raised after the sale of tickets and other $ 15,000 online, that will benefit 228 families in Ecuador.
