Ecuador Receives the Iranian President Today

The Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will arrive to Quito, the capital of Ecuador at 11:30 (GMT) for his final stop after visiting Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua.
The Islamist leader has caused controversy with statements such as, “Israel must be wiped of the map.” Ahmadinejad has also begun to produce enriched uranium that is used for nuclear weapons.
The Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa is interested in the development and hydraulic construction and refinery. The Iranian leader purpose of his visit is to establish good political relations with Ecuador. (AV)
