Ecuador shares vaccination success in Berlin

The Vice President of Ecuador, Alfredo Borrero, during his participation in the World Health Summit 2021 in Berlin shared the success of the vaccination against covid.
In his speech, he unveiled the vaccination plan and the model adopted in the country, which has managed to inoculate 9 million people in 100 days.
“It took less than 100 days to immunize 70% of the adult population. We have reduced ICU use by 25% and deaths from covid by 90%, “said Borrero.
From the headquarters of the World Health Summit, the vice president called for a global pact for vaccination. “The distribution of vaccines should be prioritized in the poorest countries,” he proposed.
