Ecuador will build bridges in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
President Rafael Correa met yesterday with Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. During the meeting they discussed the desire for cooperation of both countries.
Ecuador stressed its desire to contribute with infrastructure. For this, the Engineers Corps of the Army will help to build 4 bridges. The Government is committed to support with equipment and training because the bridge system of that country was severely affected by last year hurricanes.
Correa stressed the support in higher education that the academic Caribbean country can provide to Ecuadorian teachers in subjects such as English.
“Why not sending our teachers to our beloved Saint Vincent and the Grenadines instead of the United States, and at the seme time they also assist in the Ecuadorian education?” Said the President.
