1 million people will come to Guayaquil and Quito to see Pope Francis, from 5 to 8 July, the Ministry of Tourism reported. The company conducted a telephone survey in 25 cities in the country through Coordinators of Research of the Ministry of Tourism, between 18 and 25 June. And according to it, the movements will generate an expense of about $ 43 million.

Against this, the Ecuadorian Episcopal Conference and the Central Commission that organizes the visit of Francis, ratified that believers do not require invitations to attend the Masses in Samanes Park (Guayaquil) and Bicentenario Park (Quito).

Through a statement, they reported that the passes to designated locations are for civil and ecclesiastical authorities, diplomatic and religious bodies.

Catholics in El Oro, Chimborazo and the Azuay capital are getting ready to move to the premises where the eucharists will take place.
