Elections in Pedernales and Lomas will cost about $180 k

This Sunday elections in Pedernales (Manabi) and Lomas de Sargentillo (Guayas), will cost about $180,000, according to the operational plan approved Tuesday night by the National Electoral Council (CNE). To this meeting 53.285 voters between the two jurisdictions are called, and 187 joints shall be installed.
According to the report submitted by the Coordinator of elections, elections in the Pedernales canton have a cost of $170.707,41; from which, $84.400 will go to the armed forces and $25.499,52 as a contribution for police, entities that are responsible for the transportation of electoral material, safekeeping and security in the polling stations.
The cost of the elections in Lomas de Sargentillo does not exceed $10 thousand.
