Emelec and Barcelona obtained important results in Copa Sudamericana 2012

Last night, Club Sport Emelec triumphed by 0-1 against Olimpia of Paraguay, in a key game for the second phase of the Copa Sudamericana, played yesterday in Asuncion.

With a very solid defense and a permanent attack, the electric blue team achieved an important victory.

Argentine defender, Cristian Nasuti, was commissioned to convert the winning goal for Emelec at minute 40.

Furthermore, Barcelona Sporting Club also achieved an advantageous goalless tie against Cobreloa, at the Municipal stadium of Calama, in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana 2012.

The yellow team was given a point that gives them advantage to face the rematch next September 19 in Guayaquil.
