Emelec and Olimpia tied in points at Copa Libertadores

Last Thursday, Olimpia of Paraguay defeated Argentina’s Lanus 2-1 with goals from Vladimir Marin and Maximilian Biancucchi, at Nicolas Leoz Stadium.

With this victory, Olympia adds three points and ranks as co-leader in Group 2 in Copa Libertadores Championship.

Emelec, who beat Olimpia 1-0 in Guayaquil, shares the top of the board while Lanus and Flamengo have a point each.

Flamengo will receive Emelec on March 8 to complete the second key date.
