Chavez Admits the Possibility of a Malignant Tumor
Yesterday the Venezuelan President, Hugo Chavez, affirmed that there is a possibility that the new ‘tumor,’ detected in the same area where they found his cancer in 2011 could be malignant.
“No one can say at this time that is another malign tumor and for that it must be removed, (…) The likelihood of malignancy is higher than that is not.” Recognized the 57-year old leader. Chavez never clarified in that place was the tumor detected or what kind of cancer he has. Now the Venezuelan leader would travel today to La Habana, Cuba; to have a surgery next week.
Chavez showed his confidence in the fact that he will not remain many days in La Habana. The National Assembly approved Chavez absence. The Venezuelan president requested that his cabinet to ‘pulverize’ any rumors and campaigns regarding his health. (AV)
