Environmental Summit Starting Today in Ecuador
Today, in Guayaquil, it begins the International Summit on the Environment (CIMA), in order to promote Ecuador as an environmentalist country. The appointment will be in the Conventions Center of Guayaquil at 20h00, which will give an opening cocktail.
Tomorrow it will be held the first part of the academic conference; it will include business, technical, environmental and social lectures. Some of the points addressed in the conference are the social and corporate responsibility, environmental services, green communications and tourism, and sustainable financial development. Other topics presented will be services for local development, business, natural resources, logistics and transportation, renewable energy, and government.
There will be Environmental CSR stands (companies that not only satisfy the consumer, but concern about the welfare of the community), for products and services. It was also planned future visits to national companies with the aim of let participants be aware of sustainable production processes applied by companies in the country.
The close of this Summit will be on Thursday 17, the same day that it will be held at 5km race. The race will start on the streets Jose Castillo and Francisco de Orellana, Kennedy Norte. The registration will cost $ 10. The amount will be donated to the Yasuni-ITT initiative in order to avoid exploiting oil from the reserve.
