Eugenio Espejo is honored by physicians

Doctors celebrate their day with a national day in honour of the birthday of Eugenio Espejo, which is celebrated every 21st of this month.

In Quito, doctors will concentrate, at 16:00, at the hospital Carlos Andrade Marin. From there they will depart to the cemetery of El Tejar where the tomb of the hero is located. There, they will place a floral offering. In other cities, the intention is to put the wreath in parks or places that have monuments of Espejo.

Likewise, doctors are waiting that the National Court of Justice (NCJ) approve the proposed interpretative resolution of article 146 of the criminal code, if they don’t ,they will again take  the streets to protest.
