Some injured were treated on site and some other were transported to the Guayaquil Hospital.
Last Saturday at the maximum-security prison in Guayaquil, known as “La Roca“, a device exploded leaving at least six inmates injured.
Penitentiary officials revealed that some injured were treated on site and some other were transported to the Guayaquil Hospital.
It was also known that the responsible of the explosion would be Carlos Junior Santana Anchundia, alias Tierrita, who is serving a 25-year sentence for the murder of Claudia Poppe Jaramillo and her mother Sonia Jaramillo, who were found dead on September 13, 2009, in his apartment at Urdesa.
Santana would have enabled two grenades in La Roca Jail, but only one of them worked. (MZ)
