Fernando Cedeño new Chairman of CPC
Posted On 21 Sep 2012
With unanimous voting, the Council of Citizen Participation and Social Control (CPCCS, for its Spanish acronym) elected Fernando Cedeño and Monica Banegas as president and vice president of the organization.
This new designation aims to strengthen public participation processes and the fight against corruption, they said.
To start with this task, established in the Constitution of Montecristi, the organization is committed to appoint the new heads of secretariats of Transparency and Corruption Fight and Technique Participation.
Cedeño replaces Marcela Miranda, who at her parting, acknowledged that during her administration there was no teamwork.
