Fernando Villavicencio ensures that Correa ordered the Senain to spy on him

In an interview with Ecuavisa, Fernando Villavicencio, sentenced for libel against President Rafael Correa, said he has resorted to the Special Rapporteur of the United Nations for the Promotion and Protection of Freedom of Expression, to expose his case, because in Ecuador there is no independent judiciary, as in the words of Villavicencio this is controlled by his accuser, President Rafael Correa.
Villavicencio expects the United Nations to initiate an investigation, visit Ecuador, and finally observe Ecuador and President Correa by the systematic violation of human rights against him.
According to Villavicencio, although the sentence is prescribed (one year in prison, the payment of $ 140 000 and a public apology for insulting the president), the president requires Justice to initiate a new criminal proceeding for contempt of court, “President Correa wants $ 140 000 and see us in prison,” he added.
He recalled that “Alexis Mera, and President Rafael Correa, accused me of spying the Presidency of the Republic, with the false argument they raided my house with 13 thirteen hooded men, machine guns, they generated fear to my children in the morning of December 2013. On November 2, 2013-documents that will be taken to the United Nations,- President Correa orders the National Intelligence Secretariat (Senain), Paul Romero and Rommy Vallejo to spy and monitor Clever Jimenez and Fernando Villavicencio, several weeks later the Senain, the prosecutor and 13 men of the Intervention and Rescue Group (GIR), raided my house and take thousands of documents I had part of journalistic investigation processes.”
When asked if he is aware of the espionage order, Villavicencio, said, “the ridiculous of this case is that the legal secretary of the presidency himself, Alexis Mera, leaves hours later and says: Here I have the documents that we have taken from Villavicencio´s house and the Assembly, in which there are terrible things.”
Moreover, Mera himself had said they were wrong, Villavicencio and Jimenez have not been hacking us, the one that has hackes us is Chevron, ie they raid my home knowing that we did not do espionage activity. “The one that spies is the Senain, I have evidence, and I will denounce before the UN the espionage made to thousands of compatriots by Hacking Team and other companies that have been hired by the Senain.”
He also said that ” Correa´s government has spied on world leaders, international journalists like Andres Openhaimer from CNN.”
Another reason why Villavicencio resorts to the UN is by the criminal proceedings Petroecuador filed against him at the request of Jorge Glas and Correa, by the fact of writing a book entitled “Made in China,”in which he tells the greatest corruption case of Ecuadorlargest and which relates to Chinese credit lines that are paid with Ecuadorian oil that are then resold to brockers.
Finally, Villavicencio denounced they just made a loan of 2500 million with high interest, not with a company in Thailand, but to a company domiciled in a tax haven in Singapore, such as PTT International Trading Company.”
