FIFA sanctioned with transfer prohibition to FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona shall not sign up any domestic or foreign player until the summer of 2015 after the sanction that this Wednesday communicated the FIFA Disciplinary Committee for the registration and irregular recruitment of players under 18 from 2009 to 2013.

The article published by FIFA assures that the club has been punished for the coming summer and winter markets and sentenced to pay a fine of 450,000 Swiss francs (370,000 euros).

FIFA, which has also punished for the same reason the Royal Spanish Football Federation, has given 90 days to Barcelona “to regularize the situation of all young players affected.”

Barça announced in a statement that will present the appeal to FIFA.
