FIFA Selects 84 Referees from 26 Countries for London 2012

The Referees Committee of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), who the Spanish Angel Maria Villar chairs, confirmed on Thursday the 84 referees from 26 countries selected to direct the soccer matches of the Olympic football tournament in London 2012, which will be held from July 25 to August 12.
As reported by the FIFA, in the men category 16 referees and 32 assistants have been selected from all six confederations, and in the female category 12 referees and 24 assistants. (ARL)
