Posted On 26 Mar 2012
FIFA announced that they are willing to start the investigations regarding the cases of heart problems in soccer players.
With this fact, it is expected to determine the conditions that caused the collapse of the Bolton‘s young player Fabrice Muamba during a game against Tottenham.
Jiri Dvorak, FIFA’s medical director, said the project would be developed in the medical conference on 23 and 24 May in Budapest.
The manager said he had invited all the national team doctors to establish a global database on cases of sudden cardiac arrest, adding that the investigation will give “leads to the analysis of risk factors.”
