Foreign airlines reduce operations in Venezuela
Posted On 18 Mar 2014
Air Canada announced on Monday the suspension of its flights to Caracas for `safety´ reasons to the protests shaking Venezuela for more than one month, while a dozen of airlines reduce their operations by millionaire debts from the Government.
The suspension of operations occurs after President Nicolas Maduro threatened last friday to not allow the return of airlines which leave Venezuela, at a time when companies claim a debt of 3.7 billion dollars to the Government.
