Sources close to the first lady, Lavinia Valbonesi, confirmed the birth of Furio, the third child of President Daniel Noboa, this January 16. The president will travel to Miami this Wednesday.
At 07:00 on January 16, 2024, the third child of President Daniel Noboa was born in Miami (United States), sources close to the first lady, Lavinia Valbonesi, confirmed.
He is Noboa’s second child with Valbonesi, an influencer and model from Manabí, who has had an active schedule once Noboa arrived in Carondelet.
The baby was named Furio, in honor of Valbonesi’s father, who is an Italian migrant who settled in the Galapagos.
In addition to Furio, Noboa and Valbonesi have another son named Álvaro, like the Ecuadorian president’s father. While Noboa has a daughter from a previous marriage named Luisa.
Valbonesi had indicated during the election campaign that her son would be born in Carondelet, and later confessed on her social networks that she had gone through complications in her pregnancy.
“This sanctuary (Olón, on the Santa Elena peninsula) has a little piece of our heart. (…) We came here during Daniel’s first political campaign,” wrote Valbonesi, in one of his last posts on Instagram, last January 7th.
President Noboa will travel to Miami from January 16 to 18. This is stated in an executive decree signed this Tuesday, in which he declares the head of security who will accompany him on secondment.
