Galapagos volcano erupts

On Monday morning, guides of the cruise company ,Celebrity Cruise, reported the eruption of the volcano Wolf, located on Isabela island in the Galapagos, reported the Galapagos National Park (DPNG) ofice.
On its Twitter account, the DNPG reported that they will do a fly-over “to determine the exact location and the area that could be affected”. And added that the volcano is not located near an inhabited area, so “there is no risk for human population”. However, in the area inhabits the only population of the world of the pink iguanas.
The Wolf volcano is the highest peak in the Galapagos Islands. It reaches 1.707 m (5,600 ft). It named like the German geologist Theodor Wolf. (I)
