In his version of about an hour, Chiriboga exposed his truth about the case, whose details he did not want to disclose because he was in the investigative phase.

However, it was emphatic that it is a civil case that occurred 19 years ago and that there is nothing wrong with a criminal case. “We have stated, explained, presented the documents back to the prosecution and we have reiterated that the matter was investigated by the prosecution itself in the administration of Dr. Pesántez and placed the file of these same events seven years ago,” he said.

For the ex-prosecutor, they are made judged, investigated and proven false, for what qualifies a complaint as a policy, since the complainant is not the victim but is political. Cléver Jimenez, who was present at the Stagecoach yesterday, said that all Chiriboga did in his appearance was an account of the facts, but was unable to answer questions such as why the house is not in its financial statement when he was in high public positions.
