Glas Viejó´s medical assessment is requested

The Police Hospital of Guayaquil should have delivered, until Wednesday, to the Tenth Criminal Court of Guayas a report with the clinical assessment of Jorge Glas Viejó, who is being investigated for alleged rape of a minor in 2011.

On Monday, July, 21, the Court requested the health center to send within 72 hours the clinical assessment of Glas Viejó, who is in the hospital according to the prosecution, after arriving deported from Paraguay in March.

With this clinical assessment, the Prosecutor would determine if Glas Viejó is able to cope with the adjudication hearing against him, whose date is not yet determined.

The Court stated in its order that “doctors previously reported that it is about a clinically unstable patient”.
