Google Releases a Video of its Self Driving Car
Google has released a video showing the progress on its project Self-Driving Car Test, an automated driving system for vehicles. The company has enjoyed the cooperation of a volunteer with vision problems that has been paid to use the conduction system.
The company explained that before the evidence presented there have been more than 200,000 miles of testing. After months of work, Google has built a complete enough system for a real test.
In the video Steve, the driver, just sits in the front seat and the car is able to execute his instructions without his control.
On the operation of this system, the video shows that a Toyota Prius vehicle fully equipped with cameras and sensors allows the identification of the route. The video is just one example of the point where is the project and especially its potential. (FL)
