Government minimizes the closure of U.S. office

The Minister of Domestic Affairs, José Serrano, shrugged off the announcement made by the United States government about the withdrawal ,in late September, of its staff from the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), based at the U.S. Embassy in Quito, reported the Andean agency yesterday.On Wednesday, the United States announced the withdrawal from Ecuador of its officials at the end of September.
