Posted On 23 Apr 2014
Next week, the Government would convene a competition which involves industries that provide utensils to be used in induction kitchens, whose sell will become effective in September, replacing gas cookers. The call would include the provision of seven pieces of steel: three pots, their corresponding tops and a frying pan.
Alexis Valencia, undersecretary of the Mipro Industrial Development, said that conversations with the national industry are quite advanced, and there is the best predisposition to meet the new requirements of the home appliances.
He also mentioned that metalworking sectors which makes prototypes of pots could sell their products in the market, `but the idea of manufacturing a mass product corresponds to large scale industries,´ `that does not mean other induestries can not intervene in the process´, added Valencia.
