Guayaquil Citizens Gathered to Reject The International War Arbitration in Libya
Yesterday afternoon, several people gathered at Plaza de San Francisco in the city of Guayaquil – Ecuador -, to express through banners and balloons their opposition to the resolution taken by the UN Security Council a few days ago.
People at the peaceful encampment denounced “the genocide resolution taken by the UN Security Council”. Protesters said the action “is in favor of the arms manufacturers and oil companies, rather than something positive to the Libyan people.”
Protesters rejected the intervention of countries like USA, Britain, France, and Spain, among others with applauses and amid shouts calling these countries “murderers and irresponsibles for meddling in a war that it is not theirs, instead of dealing with major requirements in which the world is going through”.
