Gaddafi’s Army Intensifies Land Attacks
Yesterday the international coalition planes bombed the palace of coronel Muammar al Gaddafi in the complex of Bab el Aziza, in the south of the capital. The Libyan leader appeared on this site to make a speech were he reassured his intention to remain in Libya. The Libyan media informed that the combat vehicles of Gaddafi’s regime fired upon one of the main hospital centers of Misrata, afterwards the tanks directed their attacks to other health centers an houses.
Gaddafi continues to maintain an arrogant posture and accused the Alliance Army as “a group of fascists that will end in the dumpster of history.” Last night the bombings from the Alliance Army reached a residential suburb in Tripoli, the attack killed a large number of civilians, according to the Libyan Agency of Jana. Meanwhile the residents of Tripoli informed that Gaddafi’s sharpshooters, who killed at least 16 people, were slaughtering them.
The Libyan army denies any offensive and that their troops are only fighting when they are under attack. Three loud explosions before sunrise awakened the Libyan capital. Gaddafi stated that he will not surrender and they will fight a long war if they have too.
