Guayaquil suffered heavy rainfall with thunderstorm

Screen Shot 2014-02-15 at 10.59.52Heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorm fell yesterday afternoon in much of the city of Guayaquil. From approximately 17:00 downpour hit the center and South zone and spread to the north side at 18:00.

The streets were flooded and caused traffic chaos, traffic congestion in various sectors joined to the work departure time and the celebration of Valentine’s Day.

Sectors such as in the Feroviaria suffered service interruptions of electricity due to heavy rain.

Also users of the social network Twitter reported floods in areas of Urdesa, Barcelona Avenue and citadel of Roldós Martha.
