Guayas and Azuay would sign today the border agreement in 608 kilometers

After five meetings between the Prefects of Guayas and Azuay, today, 608 of the 609 square kilometers of territorial uncertainty would be defined between the two provinces.
The prefects of Guayas and Azuay, Jimmy Jairala and Paul Carrasco, would sign the final agreement to resolve the border dispute.
Currently, the belonging of a square kilometer in the field of Abdon Calderon would just be left to define. The inhabitants of the town would determine the fate of the territory through a referendum.
