los-sin-cupo-siguen-con-sus-protestas-20140626072822-54a612e520ff9d3ef7cce9e4edb6bd8eHigh school students protested in Quito yesterday afternoon outside the Central University in Quito for not having access to this institution due to the lack of university quota.

The students, most minors, assured that despite achieving the required points, they have not found a place in the university careers they wish to study.

“This Revolution is hurting our education “, “The U is for everyone” and “education is a right not a privilege”, were some of themessages expressed through posters.

The students said that with the strike they try to show there are students who have been left without access to the university by failures in the national education system. They expect to be heard.
