House of ‘chapo’ Guzman in Mazatlan attracts tourists

The Mexican city of Mazatlan, has a new tourist attraction besides its beaches. The building where the most wanted drug trafficker in the world, Joaquín “Chapo” Guzmán, was arrested, has become the most visited place.
After the operation of the Mexican Navy that ended with the arrest of the big boss, The Miramar condominiums Tower , located at Avenida del Mar of this coastal city, became a tourist attraction as well as the most photographed place in the port.
Today, taxi drivers perform the so-called “narcotours” between 250 and 300 pesos (about 19 or 22 dollars), that consist of a visit to the Miramar building and typical places such as the family monument, the Malecon, or the Paseo del Centenario.
