HP Launched Touchpad
Today Hewlett-Packard (HP) unveiled its new tablet equipped with the operating system WebOS, the tablet has a size of 9.7 inches and an iPad’s similar weight, it includes a front camera for video calls through services like Skype, sound stereo, and allows the use of Quick Office from Microsoft, Google Docs, and Adobe Flash.
HP touchpad operates with WebOS because HP absorbed Palm in 2010 that promotes synergy between HP wireless devices, which, among other things, allows to picking up the incoming calls on a phone directly in the HP tablet.
The new HP tablet has quick access to emails, social networks and as its competitors, has applications to acquire and read digital books with Amazon Kindle service, or play.
Between the partners of Hewlett-Packard in this release were the Beats Audio sound company, DreamWorks animation studio, and Time Inc., which will publish magazines like Time, Sports Illustrated, and People to the tablet.
In summer the Touchpad will be available in the U.S. in the Wifi version, after other connection models as 3G and 4G will be launched.
