Image consulting is a click away

A project that many women would find helpful was presented at the CeBIT fair in Germany. It is a software that discovers which is the best makeup for a face type, taking into account the features, face shape, wrinkles or scars, all you need to do is take a picture and the program does all the work, almost like an image consulting Express.

The program, which was developed by the Max Planck Institute (Saarbrücken,Germany), has 60 pre-designed 3D face models. “By setting the face in 3D, you can even determine how much makeup should be applied in every area,” said Kristina Scherbaum, project director.

The application is currently in testing phase, but it could be marketed soon. It also evaluates the lighting conditions and determines which is the best makeup for day or night.
