In Loja, the best coffee is exposed

Coffee growers from fourteen provinces of the country came to Loja to exhibit and market their best grains in the VI Loja National Meeting, coffee flavor.

“Behind the coffee, how many stories, and how much we can do around coffee, but the time has come not only to dream it, but to make it a reality,” said Tourism Minister Enrique Ponce de León, who was in charge of opening this event.

Within the agenda of this event were contemplated a barista show, exhibition and tasting of coffee-based drinks, launching of brands, specialized conferences, presentation of circuit 1 The coffee route, tastings, training, among other activities.

The III Filled Coffee Championship was also scheduled, an auction, latte art tournament, business round and an artistic show.

“We have integrated a fundamental sector for coffee, which is the tourism sector, which is the sector that prepares this quality coffee and we want to offer it to consumers,” said prefect Rafael Dávila.
